Anyone know of an easy way to bulk remove unneeded events from a MIDI file? In the current soundtrack I am working on, there are a lot of events that happen throughout the files that are at the same tick and provide the same function but with different values. For example, in one particular file,

The first volume and pan events get immediately replaced with the second volume and pan events.

In a few instances, the order is reversed and the ones I want to keep are first rather than second, but generally I want to keep the second batch.

(It's possible that Cakewalk may automatically take care of this when I run it through that later on, but also... maybe not. EDIT: No, it does not. I thought it might combine them, but it didn't.)
