So I've been workin' on my midi sequencer and want some place to chat with other "music computer programmers". It this place a good place for that?
as a side note, lately I've been workin on choppin my roland to get it to 2 octaves and some spare
Cuz the main idea I'm workin towards now is playin the piano with only 2 octaves.
I've been pretty lucky so far. My sequencer won't DO it yet, but it will.
I've still got my main keyboard (a yamaha cp33) i call "rockin88".
But this one I'm callin "shorty" and it's for my van.

Hi Clemens,
I remember ya from ma old google groups mididev thing. You were definitely right about linux that's for dang sure. I'm over on kubuntu now and pretty happy with it. And pianocheetah can open up rawmidi devices and write to snd devices and it's great :) Goin from win32 to Qt has been a little bit uphill but mostly smooth. And it runs on the raspi so I'm pretty happy bout dat.
So what's your favorite forum for talkin' about midi and coding. or audio and coding. or, you know, music and coding? Your personal favorite.
