Hi, I just downloaded the linked MIDI file from a MIDI site, but can't seem to load it in any program, as I keep getting a file corrupt error. Is it possible to repair a file like this? It also seems to have a much larger file size than most MIDI files, so I don't really know what is going on with this.

Thanks,
Steve

This is a WMA file.

I'm not sure what a WMA file is supposed to be, but this is certainly NOT any sort of MIDI file. It's probably not corrupt/damaged, it's merely NOT the right sort of file.

Maybe this file should be loaded and 'run' within your browser, and it may provide a link to an actual MIDI file. The file contains JavaScript, and HTML, and some other things, but no midi data.

WMA is usually Windows Media Audio, as opposed to WMV for Windows Media Video.

Well, all right then. I knew something was fishy. Strange that I downloaded this from a MIDI site. Well, I'll try playing it with an Audio Player just to see what I have here.

Appreciate the confirmations.
