Hi all, new to this site. Can anyone please tell me how to set this item up. I received it as a gift , from a "friend" and I have not been able to get it running.
It powers up ok when plugged in. It seems to have all the hard wear, pick-up and leads but no manual.

Well, it would be nice if you said something about what you're hoping to do with this, starting with what other MIDI and software you'll be using with it.

How come you didn't get a manual with it? Have you tried to download one?
