SkyDust 3D
SkyDust 3D is a 3D synthesizer, a virtual instrument that provides full support for 3D audio – you play a note and get instant spatial sound. By combining the powerful Sound Particles 3D engine with a polyphonic synthesizer, SkyDust 3D enables musicians and producers to create truly innovative and groundbreaking audio compositions. It includes a range of advanced features that empower precise control over 3D sounds, allowing the user to use MIDI/EG/LFO/Sequencer to control 3D panning. Our synthesizer also features an intuitive and easy-to-use interface that makes it accessible to musicians of all levels, and unique presets that explore the concept of spatialization. With SkyDust 3D, spatial audio is no longer just a technical tool but it can be harnessed as a creative tool for music production.
SkyDust 3D has 8 oscillators per voice, with each oscillator with a 3D position in space (e.g., you play 10 notes and you will get 80 “objects”/sound sources playing in a 3D space). By integrating the 3D engine with the synth, multiple things are possible: • Using MIDI information to control space (e.g., using Aftertouch to control the elevation of sounds). • Using LFOs to control sound position (e.g., using a noise LFO to control the azimuth of oscillator 3, making its sound jump around). • Using EGs to control sound position (e.g., using an ADSR to make a note starts at the back, attacks to the center, and releases above the head). • Using a Sequencer with specific panning for each step, allowing you to easily create 3D arpeggios. In terms of output formats, SkyDust 3D supports more than 30 formats, including, stereo, binaural (3D sound over headphones), 5.1, 7.1, Dolby Atmos (7.1.2, 9.1.6, etc.), 22.2, Ambisonics (up to 6th order). Besides the spatial features, SkyDust 3D includes multiple innovations, including a poly keyboard sequencer, random preset generator, sub-presets, custom panner editor, ability to force a sequencer scale (getting the right major/minor arpeggios depending on the note of the scale), and an extra powerful matrix associated with a curve editor. Finally, our user-friendly interface sets SkyDust 3D apart from the competition. We have designed the product with ease-of-use in mind, ensuring that even novice users can quickly and easily create complex soundscapes with our synthesizer.
